Lillian Fama
specialties are in the style of Tap, Hip Hop and Jazz, though she also has extensive experience in Modern and some in Ballet. She is a graduate of Naugatuck Valley Community College in CT, where she received her certificate in dance. She has been performing and choreographing for many years. She is a strong motivated person with goals and ambitions that she pushes to meet. Lillian is also a teacher at the YMCA in Westport. Currently she is working on becoming Dance Masters of America certified. Lillian is excited to take on any challenge that faces her. Her motto is “Bring it on!”

Jamie Kaplan
joins our studio this season, originally from New Jersey. Her specialties are in the style of Ballet and Pointe. She brings with her over twenty years of dance training and ten years of teaching and choreography. Once a competitive performer, she now sits as a judge for a regional competition. Jaime has experience in Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Tap, Jazz and Hip Hop though Ballet is her passion and she enjoys sharing that passion with her students. While at Towson University, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in psychology, Jaime had the privilege to maintain her training and performance repertoire by taking technique classes with Dana Martin, Catherine Horta-Hayden and Lester Holmes, and by performing in the company’s production of The Nutcracker and other student works. While working on her Master’s degree at Columbia University, Jaime frequented Steps on Broadway in New York City to further her ballet education and studied with Kathryn Sullivan and Alexander Filipov. Now a doctoral candidate at the University of Hartford, Jaime is excited to bring her passion and love for dance to Connecticut to share with the budding dancers of Dance Xpressions!
