Our faculty is well-known for their depth of knowledge and experience. At Dance Xpressions, you are sure to find a teacher that will more than meet your needs or expose you to a completely new experience in the dance style of your choice. Our teachers offer classic teaching styles or new cutting edge methods depending on your level and desired form of instruction.

Phyllis Boucher has twenty-five years experience in teaching, performing and choreography. She began her dance training at Miss Vicki's School of Dance in CT and became an assistant teacher. After high school she continued her studies at the Hartford Conservatory in CT and received a diploma in dance pedagogy. Upon graduation she was chosen to participate in a teacher's workshop at Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival in MA. Phyllis has also performed for the Hartford Conservatory and has been a member of the Annex Dance Company. She has taken various workshops and master classes including courses at the Broadway Dance Center in NY.

Phyllis was recently a co-owner of PK's Dance Academy in CT. She has been an instructor and choreographer for various places including the Hartford Conservatory, Farmington and Avon Parks and Recreation Department and various studios in CT. She has also been the director of the dance department for Northwest Catholic High School.

Phyllis enjoys bringing her experiences into the classroom for all her students to share. She is looking forward to this year with the expansion of the DX Dance Team and taking students for classes in NY. She takes pride in her student's progress and in helping them fulfill their dreams.
